Every member pledges annually. Each quarter, members gather, hear from local nonprofits, and choose three to fund: $20,000, $2,500, and $2,500, for up to $100,000 granted back to the community every year.

Who can become a member of The HVFM 100? +

Membership is open to community leaders connected to Highland Village or Flower Mound — residents, professionals, and civic-minded individuals who want to commit annually to funding local nonprofits. The circle is capped at 100 to keep voting meaningful.

How much is the annual pledge? +

Each member pledges $1,000 annually. With 100 members, that pledge becomes $100,000 in grants awarded back to the community every year — entirely within Highland Village and Flower Mound.

How are grant recipients chosen? +

Local nonprofits apply throughout the year. A member committee reviews applications and shortlists candidates ahead of each quarterly meeting. Shortlisted charities present in person, and members vote that same evening to select the three recipients.

How often do members actually meet? +

Members meet four times a year, once each quarter. Every meeting is a grant cycle where local charities present and members vote on the recipients.

Can a local charity apply for a grant? +

Yes. Any 501(c)(3) serving Highland Village or Flower Mound is welcome to apply. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through our charity application form and reviewed for each quarterly cycle.

Can companies sponsor The HVFM 100? +

Yes, we graciously accept and will feature any companies that wish to sponsor on a quarterly or annual basis. Please reach out for details on sponsorship.

Is The HVFM 100 a 501(c)(3)? +

Yes. The HVFM 100 operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Member pledges may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law — please consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.
